ENTE, TOD UND TULPE von Nora DirisamerEnte spürt es schon eine ganze Weile. Jemand beobachtet sie, ist in ihrer Nähe. Schließlich steht er leibhaftig vor ihr: der Tod. Als sie ihm ins Auge blickt, ist sie zuerst zutiefst erschrocken. Doch Ente ist noch nicht bereit für den Tod. Sie will ihm noch so viel zeigen! Zusammen verbringen sie einen Sommer lang ihre Zeit, schwimmen im See, sitzen auf einem Baum oder im Gras, erzählen und schweigen und wärmen einander, wenn ihnen kalt ist.Und in dieser Zeit erfährt Tod so einiges, was selbst er noch nicht wusste. Doch der Herbst kommt, und mit ihm wird es Zeit für Ente, Abschied zu nehmen.Wolf Erlbruch schreibt und illustriert seit Ende der 1980er Jahre Kinderbücher. Seit 1990 ist er Professor für Illustration. 2003 erhielt er den Sonderpreis des Deutschen Jugendliteraturpreises für sein Gesamtwerk, 2006 den Hans Christian Andersen-Preis.Nominiert für den Theaterpreis "Stella11" - Herausragende Produktionen für Kinder

Für ein glückliches Leben braucht man Spaß. Spannung. Wissen wäre auch nicht schlecht. Eine Familie. Geborgenheit. Und Freunde. Das weiß die kleine Fliege ganz sicher, obwohl sie gerade erst im Wald geschlüpft ist. Sie bringt es auch gleich ihren neuen Freunden, dem Wildschwein und dem Fuchs, bei. Aber nicht durch fades Blabla! Das kleine Energiebündel zeigt es ihnen und gemeinsam füllen sie nur einen Tag mit den tollsten Dingen eines ganzen Lebens. Da gibt es Höhen und Tiefen, Frust und Freude, aber am Schluss die große Gewissheit: Wenn man das Leben zusammen anpackt, kann es nur wunderschön sein! mehr

"Ich persönlich mag lieber Körner."Frido Maus wäre so gerne ein Frosch, schließlich springen Frösche nicht nur über Pfützen, sondern sogar übers Meer – glaubt er. Mona Frosch hingegen wäre nur allzu gern eine Maus, da Mäuse den ganzen Tag mit Katzen kuscheln – glaubt sie. Und beide versuchen nach Kräften, in die Haut des anderen zu schlüpfen. Doch als Mona ihren falschen Mäuseschwanz verliert, fliegt der Schwindel auf – ausgerechnet, als der gefährliche Storch im Anflug ist. Wie gut, dass Frido eine prima Mäuseidee hat, bei der Mona plötzlich ungeahnte Kräfte entdecken kann. mehr

Limerick Early Music Festival Every year on the 21st of March is Early Music Day, celebrated on Bach’s birthday. The Limerick Early Music Festival (LEMF) takes place on the weekend closest to Early Music Day in different venues across the medieval city of Limerick. Drogheda Arts Festival is a multidisciplinary arts festival funded and supported by Louth County Council and the Arts Council of Ireland, with support from the local business and community.
The Drogheda Arts Festival was initiated in 2003 by the then Arts Officer for Drogheda, Rosemary Collier, and is currently undergoing a transition from a voluntary committee, comprised of creatives and arts practitioners to a board and festival director.
