BORDERLESS

The European situation with its current crisis and problems inspired Camerata Europæa (CE) to create programs with the intention to overcome and to break down boundaries. With an interdisciplinary approach the extensive program of CE stages the encounter and fusion of music, art, performance, new media and improvisation. Concerts, movies, exhibitions, interpretations, workshops and panels subserve both the audience and the artists to gain innovative impressions and discover new excitingly facets for oneself.

The movie "BORDERLESS" by Thobile Maphanga was produced for the Festival of Culture of the Camerata Europæa. It shows interviews with young south africans of different backgrounds and age. They are asked about their understanding of borders and the term "borderless".
