Unity and Diversity

The social dimensions of this year's music festival can be recognised right from the opening concert. The Weimar Triangle will be commemorated musically at the Saarland Representation to the Federal Government in Berlin. The Weimar Triangle is an association of the three countries Poland, Germany and France, which aims to promote co-operation on a European level. The chamber music programme with works by Poulenc, Beethoven and Szymanowski musically reflects this European diversity in unity.
