Music to heal wounds and unite people

Europe has been the backdrop for bloody wars, conflicts which have not only destroyed cities but separated people. Stop War Festibala aims to give the city a voice and call out in favour of peace and social harmony. Over the course of Easter week, the festival will bring together local and international musicians and give a voice to activists and groups working in the fight against war and in support of human rights.
Stop War Festibala will have three daytime stages which will host cultural activities such as music, children's workshops, dance, a videogame marathon… At night, famous artists will fill the main stage with music.
Apart from promoting a firm position against war, the festival proposes a more extensive and respectful reconsideration of the relationship between sexes, a life in harmony with nature, the defence of universal civil rights and civil disobedience against injustice as transversal forms of social organisation to correct the dominant world order."The festival will bring together local and international musicians and give a voice to activists and groups working in the fight against war and in support of human rights".
