Opening of the Pan Tadeusz Museum
For one year from April 23, 2016, Wrocław will be the UNESCO World Book Capital. The year will begin with the opening of the Pan Tadeusz Museum on the Rynek. It is reminiscent of the famous epic poem by Adam Mickiewicz, whose original manuscript is found among the treasures of the Wrocław Ossolineum. In the evening, the European Literature Night will take place with readings in churches and many other places.
